My #Highlights21

2021-Highlights-2

Philip Wharton FCCT @pkoeln1980

2021 has been one of the toughest years I have known. Shifting regulations, absences, worries amd stresses all added to the usual maelstrom of running a school.

I have been #10%Braver this year by resigning from my Headteacher position after 5 years to join my partner in another city and make a fresh start together.

I am excited for what the future holds for us together.

We´ve so much to be proud of @IBIS_School.

Despite the circumstances, we went through an accreditation visit and were commended on a large number of aspects of the school, particularly our work on mental health and wellbeing.

It was an extraordinary and humbling experience to be given incredibly positive feedback particularly during a time when our team all felt we were barely keeping our heads above water. This endorsement of our team work and school spirit will be something I will feel proud of and cherish for the rest of my life.
