Coaching the WomenEd way: Our NEW offer to the #WomenEd community
CVP Group and WomenEd are continuing to partner throughout 2025 to deliver more funded training programmes. The first cohort has completed with exceptional outcomes. The third cohort is starting now.
The next available cohort starts in September 2025 for aspiring coaches in England (due to use of Apprenticeship Levy).
This collaboration means we can build a #WomenEd coaching community which will be the first of its kind. We know women have been held back for too long so we are upskilling women as coaches in our community to empower each other. Our coaches are gaining these skills to help their colleagues in their workplace and, for some, to set themselves up to coach clients.
Our Offer
To celebrate #InternationalWomensDay2025, we are piloting 4 CVP qualified coaches who will each offer 6 coaching sessions to women from our community. Topics will be around some of the key themes we promote. Whether it's asking for a pay rise, going for that promotion, or re-framing those limiting beliefs, there are qualified coaches supporting you all the way.
Of these 4 places, 2 are available for women from the global majority. Coaches will pay a small fee to the coaches to help the coaches develop their ways of working.
WomenEd will pay the rest of the cost.
What Next?
If you are interested in being coached in our small pilot programme, please email us here by 17th March. Applicants will be notified in the first week in April.
Please say what you hope coaching can do for you and confirm you will take part in 6 sessions for a small fee. Also tell us how you usually communicate with us – e.g. social media, newsletter, email.

Introducing the Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship
Our unique approach in supporting aspiring and existing women leaders has supported our first cohort from the #WomenEd community to:
- engage with their workforce
- promote active listening skills
- deepen their understanding of what motivates teams
- improve staff retention
- support other aspiring or existing women leaders to realise #WomenEd's 10% braver mission.
The Level 5 Coaching Professional apprenticeship enabled learners to work towards a nationally recognised qualification that meets coaching professional body standards (ICF, EMCC and Association of Coaching). The coaching professional standard has been created by leading organisations with existing coaching cultures and expertise in leadership.
In a group dedicated solely to women, we cover coaching disciplines such as:
- how to plan and structure coaching sessions
- cognitive behaviour techniques to reframe limiting beliefs
- principles of neurolinguistic programming
- schools of psychology such as Carl Rogers, Gestalt and Freud.
- leadership theory and change management
- ethics and professional codes of conduct for coaches as well as how to demonstrate return on investment to stakeholders.
Our #WomenEd cohort also have the unique opportunity to attend additional #WomenEd sessions to explore the needs of women leaders further.
Here's what our 1st cohort have to say about the programme:
"This course has been the perfect opportunity to keep learning and development at the heart of what I'm doing. It's extremely well organised and resourced. Yasmin's care, expertise and passion ensures we as the participants are motivated and supported every step of the way." Claire, Senior Leader Education.
"Great session, the demonstration where we got to see it in action was really powerful to have that practical example. It is about simple steps being done well. You have to learn the art (which can be complex) and then not let it cloud your basic best practice." Apprentice, Masterclass 2.
Our #WomenEd cohort also has the unique opportunity to attend additional #WomenEd sessions to explore the needs of women leaders further.
