#WomenEd Germany: Leading with Emotional Intelligence

This is an online event which will take place via Zoom. The Zoom link will be shared with you via email on the morning of November 11.

This session is about the very real connection between emotional intelligence and leadership, whether you’re leading a school, a team, or a class. Because at the end of the day, we’re all people. We all have emotions, we all have good days and hard days, and how we manage those emotionsand show up for others can have a big impact on our teams and the work we do together.

We’ll unpack some of the key pieces of emotional intelligence, including self-awareness, emotion regulation, empathy, and managing stress, and think about what these look like in real life, not just in theory. We’ll also explore how the way we show up as leaders impacts things like decision making, relationships, accountability, team culture, and how we navigate change together.
